Brittney
RDH and Marketing and Special Events Coordinator
Brittney earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and joined our team in 2016. She stays pretty busy in the office, her job entails running the hygiene department smoothly, providing routine dental cleanings, and posting on all social media platforms, as well as responding to all reviews. Brittney loves educating patients and parents of the importance of routine dental care, and making a positive impact on their lives. Our patients are family, so she loves seeing them every six months and hearing what they've accomplished dental wise and in their personal life! Brittney always focuses on the patients and exactly what dental care they need, and keeps the patient and parent first, always. The love shared for the community is equal, and Brittney loves being a part of it!
Brittney married her best friend in 2017. She and her husband have two boys named Fisher and Hunter. They’re a family that loves the outdoors. In their free time, they can be found fishing, hunting, attending Church, throwing balls at the baseball fields, or taking care of their many chickens at their farm. Brittney also enjoys working out and becoming stronger every day. Fun fact: Brittney still has a baby tooth!

Brittany
EFDA – Lead Dental Assistant
Brittany has been with this practice since the day we opened. She is a middle Tennessee native, born and raised in Hendersonville, TN. She has several years of experience as a dental assistant in pediatric dentistry. Her positive attitude and bubbly personality help make children feel more at ease while visiting our office. Brittany attended Remington College where she earned her dental assisting certificate. She is an expanded function trained dental assistant and assists our doctors in restoring children’s smiles. Brittany is also credentialed to assist with our surgical cases at Sumner Regional Medical Center and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She wears many hats in our office and there is never a task too big or small for her to help with. If you have been to Sumner Pediatric Dentistry, then you know how special she is.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and can always be found cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers and cuddling with her basset hound puppies.
Jenifer
EFDA
Jenifer graduated from Remington College in 2005. She practiced general dentistry 14 years prior to joining our team in 2019. Her job duties include assisting the dentist with procedures, placing final restorations, and lab management. Jenifer’s favorite part of her job is connecting with patients and their parents, having fun, and making it a positive experience for the children. She also loves trying to bring laughter to the team’s days. She says that our team is a big family, and she knows she can count on each person in the office.
Jenifer was born in Virginia but raised across the nation due to her dad being a Navy Corpsman; she is the third child in a family of eight children. She is a mother of three beautiful children: Taryn, Elizabeth, and Lucas II. Her husband, Lucas, is her high school sweetheart and they’ve been married since 2007. Outside of the office, Jenifer can be found riding in her Jeep with the top off, kayaking, traveling, and spending time with her family! She is also a huge Bengals and Green Bay Packer fan, and she serves at her church in the children’s ministry. Fun Fact: She loves Chinese food and pizza!
Carolina

Carolina
Carolina was born and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico until she was seven years old when her family immigrated to Gallatin and made Middle Tennessee their home. Carolina graduated from Gallatin High School and has been working in healthcare since that time. Carolina joined the SPD family in 2013. Carolina serves mainly in our hygiene department, but you can find her on the restorative side when we need assistance. She enjoys what she does, and loves being able to assist on both sides of our dental departments! She also helps our office communicate effectively with our Spanish-speaking families.
Ms. Carolina has lived in Gallatin basically her whole life. She has one daughter named Gali, and two dogs, Roco and Buster. Family and faith are very important to her. She loves spending time with her family, having bonfires, movie nights, and she enjoys going to local farmers markets. Fun Fact: She has recently started a new hobby, gardening!
Kaitlyn
RDA
Meet Kaitlyn, or as many call her, "Kait." Kait joined our team in 2018. She's your friendly neighborhood dental assistant turned crime-solving connoisseur. It's like living in an episode of "CSI: Tooth Fairy Edition." Armed with her trusty floss and a knack for justice, Kait is currently pursuing her master's degree—because apparently, one degree just wasn't enough excitement. When she's not chasing down cavities or chasing down criminals (okay, maybe just in her dreams), you can find Kait curled up with her cat, Crookshanks, who's convinced he's a secret agent. Between floss battles and textbook brawls, Kait also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, dabbling in painting, buried in a book, and wondering if there's a dental code for "awkward small talk."
Fallon
RDA
Fallon has been an RDA since 2017 and has lived in Gallatin her whole life! She joined our team in 2023 and works in our hygiene department. She spends her days providing routine dental cleanings and educating about the importance of good oral health. Fallon is our jokester and is always making our kiddos laugh. Serving our kiddos with a smile, is exactly what she enjoys. During her free time, she cuddles her dog, Finley. She loves going hiking and paddle boarding. Her favorite tradition is family dinner at her Grandmother’s house every Sunday! Fun but sad fact: She loves Alabama football!

Kayla joined our team in 2023. She lives in Lafayette, TN, and commutes to serve our kiddos right here in Sumner County! She is a proud dental assistant in our hygiene department. She enjoys cleaning her patients’ teeth and spreading smiles any moment she can. You can also find her loving on our office dogs during the day. Kayla is an animal person and spoils any dog she meets! She also has three dogs at home who are basically her children. In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends and family. Fun Fact: Kayla has been a photographer since 2020!
Kerri
Patient Care Coordinator
Kerri joined our team in 2017. Her bubbly personality and bright smile makes her the perfect fit for our patient care coordinator, and serving our patients when they walk through the door. Kerri’s cheerful and outgoing personality shines through in her work and personal life. She tackles almost any project thrown her way! Originally from Alabama, she pursued her education at the University of Alabama before relocating from Chicago to Nashville in 2006. She’s been happily committed to her boyfriend Kyle for 14 years and adores her Weimaraner’s, Elly and Hurley. When she’s not brightening the office with her smile, Kerri enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing, and cheering on the Crimson Tide. “Roll Tide Roll” as she would say! Fun fact: She’s also skilled at planning the perfectly themed party, especially around the holidays.
Michelle
Insurance Coordinator
Meet Michelle, the dental insurance guru who's tackled teeth troubles from the United Kingdom to the United States. She joined our team in 2022. When she's not deciphering dental codes, she's busy with her husband and two kiddos, all while squeezing in workouts to keep her sanity intact. With a penchant for page-turners and guilty pleasure TV, Michelle proves that even insurance pros know how to have a laugh – and maybe a few cavity-free chuckles along the way!
Viri
Administrative Assistant
Viri joined our team in 2023. She was born and raised in the small town of Gallatin, TN. She helps with our administrative tasks and translates for our Spanish-speaking families. She is a proud Tennessean with a big heart and much love for her family, pets, and the simple joys of life. With six sisters, eight dogs, and one beloved cat, her home is always buzzing with energy and love. She also enjoys being an active member of the Jehovah Witnesses. She finds peace in cleaning and enjoys the flavors of Asian cuisine, especially Korean dishes. She is currently engaged, and soon to be married to her best-friend. Fun Fact: Viri is determined to become a dental assistant and will be attending school very soon!
Cally
Clinical Assistant
Cally joined our team in 2022 and has been a huge help ever since! She is our sterilization and clinical assistant. She helps to make sure our team is set and ready to conquer the day! She helps with cleaning instruments, stocking, and just about anything and everything your kiddo may need while in the chair. She has lived in Gallatin her whole life! She has two sisters who are her best friends. They love watching movies and playing games together, and really just spending time together. She loves being outside and enjoying sunny days! Her favorite food is a molten lava cake from Chilis (She brushes afterwards of course)! Fun Fact: Cally is currently in school for dental hygiene!
Rachel
Office Assistant
Rachel is the marketing coordinator and accounting manager for Sumner Pediatric Dentistry. When she is not managing that aspect of the practice she is taking care of the behind-the-scenes tasks that have to be done outside of direct patient care.
Rachel is married to Dr. Andy and is the mother to their two sons, JT and Jake. When she is outside of the practice, she enjoys working out, reading, and caring for her three children, especially Dr. Andy. Rachel has a background in education and has earned her Bachelor of Arts from Lambuth University and her Master’s Degree from the University of Memphis. She also has obtained her +30 and an ESL endorsement and enjoys teaching English language learners in the elementary school setting. Rachel has previously taught in underserved schools in Memphis, TN, Oklahoma City, OK, Richmond, VA, and in Robertson County in Tennessee.

Meet Titan, the trusty canine companion at our pediatric dental office! With his wagging tail and friendly demeanor, Titan helps children feel at ease during their dental visits. His gentle nature and playful spirit make him a favorite among our young patients, offering comfort and support as they navigate their dental care journey.
